Espresso vans & mobile

Why finance, not cash

Three reasons espresso & coffee buyers finance.

Coffee cash compounds fast

A £20k espresso machine running 200 covers a day at £3.50 a head pays for itself in months. Lock the cash in capex and you choke the working capital that grows the trade.

First-year cash flow is brutal

Café gross margin is great, year-one net margin rarely is. Finance keeps cash for staff, beans and marketing while the brand finds its feet.

Lease keeps tech evergreen

Espresso tech is shifting fast (volumetrics, pre-infusion, digital pressure profiling). Finance lease lets you upgrade the bar every 4–5 years without a write-down hit.

How it runs

From quote to espresso & coffee on the road.

01

Send the bar spec

Machine, grinders, water, install. We can quote inside an hour for under £25k and 24 hours over.

02

Hospitality lender match

Hospitality-specialist lenders quote. We've placed coffee deals from start-up Brighton independents to multi-site groups.

03

Pay-out

Documents e-signed; supplier paid on delivery and install sign-off. Most bars open within 2 weeks of approval.

Recommended structure

Finance Lease usually wins for espresso & coffee.

Espresso tech is moving fast and most operators want to refresh the bar every 4–5 years. Finance lease keeps the option open with lower monthly cost than HP.

FAQs

Coffee Machine Finance — what people ask.

We're a brand-new coffee shop — can we still get finance?

Yes. Hospitality-specialist lenders will fund start-up cafés on director experience, signed lease, fit-out budget and trading projections. Higher deposit (15–25%) is normal at start-up stage. We've placed dozens of these.

Can the install, plumbing and water filtration be included?

Yes — we bundle the install, water filtration, plumbing and any decking-out costs (hopper extensions, bar carpentry) into the same agreement so it's one direct debit.

Will finance cover an espresso van conversion?

Yes — we've funded Piaggio Ape and Citroen H-Van conversions with the kit, install and signwriting all built into the agreement. Specialist lenders comfortable with mobile food and drink.

Can I finance a roaster?

Yes — we've placed 1kg sample roasters through to 30kg production setups with afterburners and PLC. Specialist lenders comfortable with roastery start-ups.
