Commission disclosure

How we get paid — in writing, every time.

AssetFi Ltd is a credit broker, not a lender. We are paid commission by the finance providers we introduce. There are no fees to you, ever — and we tell you exactly what we earn before you sign.

Lender-paid only

Commission comes from the lender on completion. You pay nothing to AssetFi.

Disclosed in writing

Exact amount and basis shown on your offer pack — before you sign anything.

Compared, not pushed

We benchmark against at least three lenders. Commission alone never decides where a deal goes.

Conflict-of-interest log

Where commission could influence rate, we record it in our internal CoI register and report annually.

FAQs

Commission, answered properly.

How does AssetFi get paid?

AssetFi is a credit broker, not a lender. When we introduce you to a finance provider and a deal completes, the lender pays us a commission. You pay no fee directly to AssetFi.

How much commission do you receive?

Commission typically ranges from 1% to 5% of the amount funded, depending on lender, structure and deal size. For deals under £25k, it can be a flat fee. We disclose the exact figure in writing in your offer pack before you sign.

Does commission affect the rate I'm offered?

On some lenders, yes — commission can be funded by a small uplift on the customer rate (a 'difference in charges' model). On other lenders, commission is paid by the lender out of their own margin and has no rate impact. Either way, the model and impact are stated upfront in your offer.

Can I see the commission before I sign?

Yes. The commission amount and basis (flat fee, percentage, or rate-impact) is shown on your formal offer document. If you'd like to see it earlier, just ask your account manager.

Do you ever take payment from the customer?

No upfront fees. No application fees. No success fees. The only payments to AssetFi come from the lender, on completion.
